To ski
The Postwiese is only a 2 to 3 minute walk from the accommodation. The ski area has 8 kilometers of slopes divided into 15 runs. There is also a 400 meter natural toboggan run and a fun park.
The ski resort 'Karussell Winterberg' is only 5 minutes away. The ski area has 27 kilometers of slopes divided over 7 mountains.

Adventure mountain cap
Leisure fun for the whole family is waiting for you in the Sauerland. There are a variety of attractions for young and old on the Adventure Mountain Cap. The excursion destination in Winterberg is also perfect for friends and groups and offers plenty of variety with numerous leisure activities in the Sauerland. The Adventure Mountain Cap is not an amusement park in the classic sense, but a mountain full of games, fun and sport for an eventful day. Mountain bike & bike park
In the Sauerland there is a complete network of more than 250 km of mountain bike routes around Winterberg-Neuastenberg. Shredding without end! In the Bikepark Winterberg you can expect 11 routes for beginners to professionals! Flowing trails, step ups and downs, gaps and much more! Grab your bike and you're ready to go. Modern chairlifts ensure comfortable uphill transport and our route team ensures that you can always shred back down well prepared.
"Steinkuhle" climbing arena
The climbing area "Steinkuhle" in Neuastenberg near Winterberg, made of clay stone slipped, has been set up for climbing since summer 2011. The wall has sixteen routes from the 3rd to the 6th level of difficulty with a wall height between 12 and 15 meters with a southeast orientation. The most difficult way is the "Asten Blitz" - a 6+. Most climbing tours are easy 3rd and 4th degrees of difficulty. The climbing routes were set up by Markus Schneider and Albrecht Saßmannshausen (DAV Hochsauerland).
Fort Fun Adventure Land
The largest amusement park in South Westphalia with roller coasters, water rides, summer toboggan run, hang gliders, western train, ferris wheel, shows and much more offers lots of fun for the whole family in the idyllic location of the Sauerland mountains.

Hiking enthusiasts will find a wide variety of hiking trails near our accommodations. The hiking trails go through mountainous terrain, forest, meadows and many natural landscapes. The height differences are not too great. Enjoy the rich flora and fauna and fantastic views. In spring and summer all sorts of beautiful flowers bloom there and in autumn you can enjoy the beautiful autumn colors.
